A young golfer from Bengaluru, on a relentless pursuit of the Masters — one fairway at a time.
"Golf is my language, my discipline, and the dream I will earn."
Born in 2015 in Bengaluru, Ruslaan Alam Khan is one of India's youngest golfers — a name already making waves on the international junior golf circuit. His name means lion — and every round he plays reflects that spirit: fearless, focused, and built for greatness.
Ruslaan balances a rigorous 6-hour daily practice schedule with top academic performance. He began his golf journey at age 7 and has since competed across India, Malaysia, Thailand, and beyond.
He has been crowned Champion at the U.S. Kids Golf Malaysian Championship 2025, Runner-Up at the prestigious Faldo Futures Series 2026 (founded by Sir Nick Faldo), and has qualified for two World Championships — the FCG Callaway World Championship 2026 & FCG International Championship 2026 in California, USA — all before turning 10.
Every tournament. Every medal. Every lesson.
Ruslaan's journey began in Bengaluru at the Karnataka Golf Association, during a time of quiet change. When his elder sister left for boarding school, the days felt longer and emptier. To give him direction and purpose, his father introduced him to golf — unaware that it would shape his future. With borrowed clubs in hand and no formal training to guide him, Ruslaan found his rhythm on the course. What he lacked in resources, he made up for with focus, resilience, and an unshakable belief in himself. Swing by swing, it became evident — this was not just a pastime, but the beginning of something extraordinary.
Ruslaan's achievements have been covered by national and international press.
